I want to buy a costume for myself, and I am 6′7", 365lbs. I found this website (thanks to Yahoo Answers) http://www.mrcostumes.com/Plus-Size-Halloween-Costumes-C36.aspx and I am not sure if I am too big even for a plus size costume. Any tips?

I am 12 and 5"3 should i buy in the kids or teens for halloween costumes thanx and if so what size?

I just learned they won’t let use wear costumes at work on Halloween. Weird, since they did let us do so last year, but then we didn’t yet have our current store manager. It kind of sucks since I’ve been working on my idea that was postponed from last year, but since I get out early, I will bring it with me and keep in the car until I punch out for the day, and put it on then. I’m sure that won’t be a problem, since I’ll be off the clock. Anyone else having this problem? And it sucks that most other stores allow this…
What does the "I hate misty" thing have to do with my question? And that first link hardly answers my question either I already have decorated and a costume idea.
And to the one who’s workplace is encouraging costumes–even though you have no interest, it seems most places are like yours. One of my co-workers is into Halloween and was discouraged by the news, and said his previuos job encouraged costumes as well.

Go to any retail store and you will see some people in costume. Safeway is a sure bet. Even McDonald’s employees will be in costume. I guarantee that

I saw a video on AFV with a family dressed like glow-in-the-dark stick people. I thought it was great, and my son and I both want to wear costumes like that for Halloween.

I went to AFV site and searched elsewhere, but I can’t find the video I saw. I don’t want to use glow-in-the-dark or reflective tape if I make our costumes. In the video, the "sticks" looked like continuous light tubing.

Can anyone help me with these costumes?

It started with a "Go-Go" theme. Retro ’60s. Then when that got worn out, they went with the warmer temps of summer and went with "Sun-Glo" or "Glo-Go". Whatever. Now in winter, it’s "Sno-Go", incorporating a Yeti costume for some poor helpless sap, dumb enough to put this hairy over-suit on to boogie around to 60’s-esque music behind sillouette screen, then to be pushed agressively out from behing the screen by a dancing volunteer Go-Go, then to do something before the audience and the show hosts, to try to impress.

RARELY do these poor Yeti dupes do ANYTHING that is impressive, and most often merely invite a critical comment from Regis…Which I guess is the point.

But Gilmans thinks it’s impressive.

They can’t dance. What do you think?

My school is having a Spirit Week and every year we have a theme and this year its "Hey Jude Juniors" and im supposed to wear Beatles/ 70s outfit. I want to come as one of the Beatles and i looked up the costumes online but they’re to expensive so i was wondering what could i wear to look like them?

I already own all of these from previous years… as well as several others.

I am trying to think of a "homemade" halloween costume…I am a 15yr old girl and I want to be a rock star…what should I wear though? Again, I am using things that I already own, I donj’t want to spend any $$$ on this costume…so what would you wear if you wanted to be a rockstar? hair= side ponytail

shirts= hot pink tight tank top & a sweatshirt with the neck cut out and sayings like "whatever" and "fabulous" on it

bottom= biker shorts and neon blue leggings with rainbows on them underneath, and a very short black tutu over everything

I realize that the substance itself predates the Spirit, but does the term "spirit gum"? I thought of this originally because the Spirit popularized the kind of domino mask that requires spirit gum to affix. I wondered if the term might have been coined thusly.

Looking for halloween costume ideas. I am 6 months pregnant and plus size. And by plus size i don’t mean 30lbs overweight and wear a size 12… i normally wear a 22/24. Anyways though– since im pregnant the "plus size" costumes at the stores are not fitting. I don’t mind making something myself… and yeah. So part one of my question is any ideas? part two of my question… if i cant find anything better i may just make a "pagent" type gown for myself with some red satin and black tule stuff and make a sash that says MISS CONCEPTION…. so does anyone have ideas of anywehre online i could find instructions/a pattern that i could modify for a formal ballroom/pagent type gown?????? thanks in advance =) happy halloween!

p.s. because im plus size and only 6 months… i dont have ONE huge big belly yet.. and i also live in michigan– so anything involving painting my belly for show are automatically out of the question =)

I really love Halloween but can’t decide on a particular costume this year. I usually do something relating to current events. Last year I was Mrs. Federline – huge pregnant belly, lots of cleavage, and an "Oops! I did it again" shirt…. it went over great. Any ideas?
