My friends and I decided we’d be the powerpuff girls [we grew up on that and figured it'd be fun] we’re 15, and we didn’t want to buy those cheep looking costumes, so we thought we’d use our own clothes, how would we go about doing this?

So this Halloween my 5 friends and I are going to go tricker-treating together. We live in a very small town so we can go to pretty much every house. We have one problem though…. we don’t know where to get our costumes or what kind of costumes to get. We want to get costumes that all corispond to each other. Like all marvel characters or something. There are three girls and three guys. Also, we are 12-13 years old. We also would like the costume theme to be TV/Movie.

I saw a video on AFV with a family dressed like glow-in-the-dark stick people. I thought it was great, and my son and I both want to wear costumes like that for Halloween.

I went to AFV site and searched elsewhere, but I can’t find the video I saw. I don’t want to use glow-in-the-dark or reflective tape if I make our costumes. In the video, the "sticks" looked like continuous light tubing.

Can anyone help me with these costumes?

We homemake our costumes…well not reallly, but we don’t buy them from a halloween store. Instead we look for our seperates from normal stores and them put them together and alter them if we need to.

I wasn’t planning to do anything for Halloween this year, but I got invited to a party and I have to wear a costume. I don’t knopw what to wear! I don’t like witches, vampires, warlocks etc. because i think it’s offense to make fun of them…though costumes basiclly mock people…w/e the point is none of those, or nothing that’s ‘sexy’ and ‘naughty’.

For the quality of the fabric, it just isn’t worth it, in my opinion.. When I bought a costumes from Japan, it was such better quality and pretty at the same time, and for the same price as the average costume found here in Halloween stores []
