The song is called "Seven Little Girls (Sitting In The Back Seat)" by Paul Evans. The song is from the 50s-60s.

I want to use it but am wondering if you would take it the wrong way if you were sitting in the crowd watching your child dance to it? Their dance is going to be real cute and girly and they are wearing very age appropriate girly style costumes. Im thinking most people are going to be paying more attention to the dance and not the song but what do you think? Use it or pick something else? Any suggestions for a girly cute song?

This week we are having "Spirit Wee" Tommorow is "Decade Day" wear you dress up as if you were from the 20s,30s,40s,50s,60s,… (you know what I mean?) and I want to dress up like I am from the 50’s ..

My mom use to have this ‘poodle-skirt’ costume in her closet.. but it turns out that (i think) last week, she gave it to the Good-Will. I did not think I needed it this week for Thursday (tomorrow (duh!!!) )

Here is what I was thinking for tomorrow that I maybe could wear…
***A poodle skirt costume (maybe I could go to the super Wal-mart today and (by luck [if i have any] go find one (which would probably be my Halloween costume for a party too)
***My black (with white bows on the tip of them) flats.
***Curl my hair and put them in pick-tails…(low picktales)

this year, me and my friends are going as pairs from the decades.
there’s ten of us and we’re doing the decades, 20s, 50s, 60s, 70s, and 80s.
we don’t want to buy a costume in a bag and were thinking about doing homemade things.
we need help with some of the decades.
could anybody think of something for a boy and girl of 14-15 for each decade?

Im in 7th grade. I dont excactly like all those pixie farie goth princess stuff. Or the pop stars and that. I do like clever, funny costume ideas, and people from the 50s 60s 70s and 80s. If it can be a homemade costume, thats ok just list the things ill need. Thanks!

Its my Uncles 50th is tonight & its fancy dress.
The theme is ‘favourite Tv/Movie character from the 50s, 60s or 70s’.

I dont want to go all out,
Just keep it simple by using clothes & accessories I already have ,
Or ones I can buy and use again.

There are costumes themed for the 20s, 50s, 60s, 70s and 80s on various websites, but why no 30s and 40s themed ones? Are there any such ideas that any of you can think of?
